PRIVACY POLICY
Last Update: 21 September, 2026
1. Definitions and Scope
WorldTechLinked developed the Relatório CCB Android application as a Freemium/Free service. This SERVICE is provided at no initial cost for use as is, offering optional enhanced features (such as the Premium Version).
This page is used to inform website visitors and app users regarding our policies on the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this Privacy Policy. The information collected is used solely for providing, maintaining, and improving the Service. We do not use or share your information with anyone except as explicitly described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy also embodies our Terms and Conditions of Use, which you accept upon using the application.
Our practices fully comply with applicable data protection legislation, notably the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (
LGPD - Lei nº 13.709/2018) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (
GDPR), as well as the
Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and the
Apple Developer Program License Agreement.
2. Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, either directly or indirectly.
The application utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for technical, security, and operational purposes.
2.1 Unique Device Identifiers and Account Registration
We may collect anonymous device identifiers (such as the UDID or Advertising ID - GAID on Android / IDFA on iOS) to determine the aggregate number of active unique devices, monitor usage metrics and traffic, diagnose stability issues, and communicate effectively with the application. This data is combined with performance analytics to continuously improve the quality of our service.
Account registration and login are optional. However, creating and logging into an account enables additional functionality — including cross-device synchronization of bookmarks, study notes, reading history, and Bible AI study inquiries.
2.2 Device Permissions, Background Audio Playback, and Notifications
The application may request specific system permissions to enable dedicated features:
*
GPS Location: May be requested to locate nearby church congregations and addresses. We do not share your geographical coordinates with third parties without your explicit consent.
*
Foreground Audio Playback (Foreground Service): The application utilizes a foreground service (with the
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK permission on Android and
Background Audio on iOS) to ensure uninterrupted audio playback of Bible chapters and hymns even when the app is minimized or the device screen is locked. This service operates strictly for media playback and collects no additional personal data.
*
Push Notifications: The app requests notification permissions (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS on Android 13+) to deliver the daily verse and essential app announcements. You may enable, disable, or customize notifications at any time in your device system settings.
*
Users with Special Needs: Users with disabilities requesting a fee exemption for the 'Premium Version' may voluntarily provide a social media handle ('@') for eligibility verification. This information is inspected by the administrator and deleted immediately after review, without being shared with third parties.
2.3 Payments and In-App Purchases
The application offers optional in-app purchases (such as the Premium Version subscription or one-time license). All billing transactions and payments are handled exclusively by the official billing platforms of Google Play Store (
Google Play Billing) or Apple App Store (
In-App Purchase).
WorldTechLinked
does not have access to, collect, or store credit card numbers, CVV security codes, or banking details. These transactions are governed strictly by the security standards and privacy policies of the respective app store.
2.4 Protection and Security of Your Information
* We employ commercially acceptable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
* We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties without your prior explicit consent, except as required by applicable law or a valid court order.
2.5 International Data Transfers and Storage
The application's services and databases are operated in Brazil and hosted on secure cloud infrastructure provided by
DigitalOcean (
https://www.digitalocean.com/) and
Amazon Web Services - AWS (
https://aws.amazon.com/pt/), whose servers may be situated inside or outside Brazil. By using the application, you consent to the secure transfer and processing of your data on these cloud facilities under contractual commitments and safeguards consistent with LGPD and GDPR standards.
Data communication between the application and our servers occurs exclusively over secure encrypted protocols (HTTPS/SSL) via our official API endpoints:
https://bibliaccb.com.br/,
https://worldtechdev.app.br, and
https://worldtechdev.app.
3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features and Biblical Inquiries
The application provides an assistive study feature powered by Generative Artificial Intelligence for Bible inquiries. To ensure complete transparency and adhere to app store policies and data privacy laws, we outline the operation of this feature below:
3.1 Purpose and Operation of the AI Feature
The AI feature allows users to submit biblical questions and receive exegetical explanations, passage summaries, historical context, and devotional reflections grounded in Holy Scripture and foundational biblical doctrine.
3.2 Transmitted Data and AI Technology Provider
* When you submit a question, the application transmits the inquiry text and your selected language to our backend servers. Our servers perform preliminary biblical grounding (matching relevant Bible verses) and dispatch the prompt to advanced language models provided by
Google LLC (Google Gemini / Google AI Studio API).
*
Prompt Privacy: No personally identifiable user information (such as your full name, email address, password, or financial information) is transmitted to Google's AI models. Only the textual content of the biblical inquiry and the contextual scripture verses are submitted for response generation. We advise users not to include sensitive personal data in their inquiries.
* AI processing is governed by Google's API Terms and Privacy Policy, available at:
Google Privacy Policy.
3.3 History, Favorites, Personal Notes, and User-Controlled Deletion
* Submitted questions, generated responses, cited scripture passages, personal study notes, and favorite items are stored securely on our servers, linked to your user account, to enable continuous personal study across sessions.
*
User Control and Deletion: You retain complete control over your AI records. You may
delete individual conversations or questions from your history directly within the chat screen at any time. Furthermore, all AI data and conversation history are permanently purged whenever you delete your account.
3.4 Nature of AI-Generated Content and Disclaimer
* Responses are generated automatically by machine learning algorithms and
may occasionally contain factual, historical, or theological inaccuracies.
* The content is intended solely for educational, personal study, and devotional assistance.
It does not replace pastoral guidance, spiritual discernment, church ministry counsel, or your own careful and direct reading of the Holy Scriptures.
3.5 Error Reporting and Feedback Mechanism ("Report Error")
In accordance with AI governance guidelines, the application provides a
"Report Error" button on every generated response. Users can promptly report incorrect verses, inaccurate statements, or inconsistent answers to support ongoing quality improvements and technical moderation.
4. User Rights and Account Deletion (LGPD and GDPR)
Pursuant to the
LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018, Article 18) and the
GDPR, we guarantee your full exercise of the following rights as a data subject:
*
Confirmation and Access: The right to confirm the existence of data processing and access the personal data we hold about you;
*
Correction: The right to request immediate correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
*
Anonymization, Blocking, or Erasure: The right to request the anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or unlawfully processed data;
*
Portability: The right to request the transfer of your data to another service provider upon explicit request;
*
Data Deletion: The right to have your personal data completely erased upon revocation of consent or an express deletion request;
*
Consent Revocation: The right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time, easily and free of charge.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at:
worldtechlinked@gmail.com.
4.1 Account and Complete Data Deletion
You can request or execute the deletion of your personal data and account directly within the application by following the step-by-step instructions at:
ACCOUNT DELETION TUTORIAL.
* Upon confirming account deletion, all personal data, registration records, bookmarks, study notes, reading history, and AI chat records will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our cloud servers;
* Deletion is immediate and irreversible. If you wish to use the application again with an account in the future, a new registration will be required, and previously deleted data cannot be recovered;
* Active subscriptions or purchases made through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store remain linked to your respective app store account and must be managed or cancelled directly through your device account settings;
* If you use other integrated applications within the CCB Applications suite under WorldTechLinked, deleting your central account will simultaneously remove your shared profile across all associated apps.
4.2 Facebook Data Deletion Instructions
If you registered or authenticated using Facebook and wish to revoke data access activities:
1. Go to your Facebook account's "Settings & Privacy" and click "Settings";
2. Navigate to "Apps and Websites";
3. Locate and select 'Relatório CCB Android';
4. Click "Remove" to revoke access permissions and delete associated data links.
4.3 Editing and Updating Profile Information
* Within the 'Login and Account' screen of the application, you can update non-mandatory profile information at any time (name, profile avatar, and study preferences). Core credentials such as your email address can be updated through secure verification or support request.
5. Log Data (Diagnostics and Performance)
Whenever you use our Service, in the event of an app error, crash, or unexpected behavior, diagnostic data is collected (through third-party monitoring SDKs). This Log Data may include details such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device model, operating system version, app state at the time of failure, date/time timestamps, and related diagnostic statistics used exclusively to troubleshoot bugs and improve application reliability.
6. Cookies, Advertising Identifiers, and Consent Management
Cookies and device identifiers are small data files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers.
The mobile application does not directly use traditional browser cookies, but integrates third-party partner SDKs and libraries that utilize anonymous advertising identifiers (such as the
Google Advertising ID - GAID on Android and
IDFA under Apple's
App Tracking Transparency - ATT on iOS) to serve relevant advertisements, prevent ad fraud, and analyze performance.
*
Consent Management Platform (CMP / Google UMP): We implement Google's
User Messaging Platform (UMP) to provide users, particularly within the European Economic Area (GDPR) and Brazil (LGPD), with clear options to consent, customize, or decline the collection of data for personalized advertising.
*
Rewarded Video Ads: The application may offer the voluntary option to watch short video advertisements in exchange for unlocking additional Bible AI questions. These videos are displayed strictly upon the user's explicit choice and action.
You can manage your advertising preferences on Android via
Google Account Settings and on iOS via
Apple Privacy Settings.
Please review the privacy policies of our primary advertising partners:
*
Google AdMob
*
Appodeal
*
Meta (Facebook Audience Network)
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We may engage third-party companies and individuals for the following purposes:
* To host and maintain our infrastructure;
* To process artificial intelligence prompts and biblical grounding;
* To perform diagnostic monitoring, crash reporting, and analytics.
These third parties receive limited access to the information strictly required to perform their contracted duties on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations prohibiting them from disclosing or using the information for any other purpose.
8. Children's Privacy Protection
Our Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with LGPD Article 14 and international regulations (such as COPPA). If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data without parental consent, we will promptly delete such information from our servers.
9. Links to Other Sites
This Service may contain links to external third-party websites or resources. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that external site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit, as we exercise no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party platforms.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect service enhancements, new features (such as AI capabilities), or regulatory legal requirements. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Any modifications become effective immediately upon posting to this page, marked with the updated effective date.
